Monday 21 November, 18.45pm: BAFTA TV Debate: My BBC in 10 years’ time

Princess Anne Theatre

As the BBC asks the public to respond on its plans to cut £670 million from its annual budget, BAFTA asks leading industry voices to outline the BBC they think would serve Britain best. Are there more radical options that could deliver better value for the licence fee payer? Join a progressive debate that will discuss what we want from the BBC, what role it should play in the future for audiences in the media landscape and in our society as a whole, as well as explore how a smaller BBC will affect content and creativity.

The debate will be chaired by the broadcaster and journalist Steve Hewlett, and will include the results of a survey conducted to capture the opinions of the British public, delivered by YouGov
