553 films were received to the 30th Fajr International Film Festival secretariat for competing and screening at the international section.
Jury members will select around 60 films among them for screening in different parts of international competition such as World Panorama, Eastern Vista, Cinema of Salvation, and Festival of Festivals.
According the FIFF public relations these films were sent from China, France, Poland, Egypt, Croatia, Sri Lanka, Denmark, Chile, Lebanon, Georgia, South Korea, Panama, Canada, Lithuania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Morocco, Belgium, Romania, Norway, Austria, Emirates, Spain, India, Iceland, Germany, Colombia, Japan, Algeria, Iraq, Estonia, Slovakia, Afghanistan, Dominican Republics, Turkey, Venezuela, Ukraine, Portugal, Thailand, Kuwait, Luxemburg, Tunisia, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherland, Peru, Guatemala, Taiwan, Paraguay, Uruguay, Qatar, Philippines, Panama, Russia, Greece, Mexico, Ireland, Japan, and Jordan.
30th Fajr International Film Festival will be held from February 1st to 11th 2012 in Tehran and some other Iranian provinces.
