Directed by the critically acclaimed Lone Scherfig ( An Education ), the poignant story of love and loss is faithfully adapted by the book’s author making it the perfect gift this Valentine’s Day.
Featuring a stellar cast lead by Academy-Award Nominee Anne Hathaway and acclaimed actor Jim Sturgess, the film showcases an array of home-grown British including star turns by Rafe Spall ( Shaun of the Dead, A Good Year) and Romola Garai ( The Hour, Atonement ).

Following the story of Emma (Hathaway) and Dexter (Sturgess), who meet on the day of their university graduation, July 15 th 1988, the film catches up with the pair on the same day for the next 20 years as they experience the highs and lows of adulthood both together and apart.
As their lives go separate ways, Emma and Dex strive to live their dreams experiencing hardship, success and compromise along the way. The bonds of their friendship are frequently tested yet their stories remain intertwined. Will they realise the power of their unique connection in time to share a life together?
