SYNOPSIS
In this unforgivingly hard-hitting thriller, Danny (Stephen Graham) and his friend Joseph (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), are faced with a terrible ultimatum. To pay off Danny’s mounting debts to crime boss Curtis (David O’Hara), Joseph must battle his way through a number of brutally violent cage fights. As the fights get tougher so their friendship will be tested to the very limit.
BEST LAID PLANS marks the third feature from BAFTA and Emmy winning Director David Blair (TV’s “Tess of the D’Urbervilles”, “The Street”, “Accused”), from a script written by Chris Green ( Desperate Measures ). The producers are Michael Knowles and Stacey Murray ( A Boy Called Dad ) and Brad Moore, who have assembled a talented team including director of photography Ali Asad ( Rise of the Footsoldier , Dead Man Running , Bonded By Blood ), production designer Kristian Milsted ( Unmade Beds ) and art director Blair Barnette ( Heroes ). Mark Foligno is executive producer ( The King’s Speech ).
