A quirky title for an unusual film. Easy to follow though when you are told the names of the brothers – Eli and Charlie Sisters.
Actor Paul Dano makes a very creditable debut here as a director. He also co-wrote the screenplay with life partner Zoe Kazan.
“Stronger” is another of those inspiring real life stories of an ordinary, in this case working class man or woman overcoming illness or disability and becoming, as the film’s synopsis describes it, “a symbol of hope”.
