ESSENTIAL FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS BEST!

AARDMAN CLASSICS ON DVD THIS FEBRUARY!

Aardman Animations is renowned for producing some of the most memorable and multi-award winning animated short films and television advertisements ever seen in this country and is probably the most successful animation studio in the world. Now you can see how it all begun with the 20 February 2006 DVD release of AARDMAN CLASSICS, courtesy of Momentum Pictures.

This must-have purchase boasts all the seminal early work from studio co-founders Peter Lord and David Sproxton, as well as Nick Park’s hugely popular and Oscar® winning ‘Creature Comforts’. With Aardman’s Wallace and Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit also being released on DVD in February, this couldn’t be a better time to release the highly collectable AARDMAN CLASSICS.

The hugely popular and Oscar® winning ‘Creature Comforts’ is joined in AARDMAN CLASSICS by the BAFTA winning medieval tale, ‘Wat’s Pig’; and a cool cat singing Nina Simone’s ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me.’ The series of ‘Conversation Pieces’ focuses on everyday activities (although not all of us have had a tea party on a deserted island) and the anarchic children’s duo ‘Pib and Pob’.

If you thought that you’d never see the Creature Comfort Heat Electric ads again - 4th favourite British Advertising campaign ever (source: Channel 4 and Sunday Times survey) – you’d be wrong as the DVD contains the entire series – all 11 ads!

The full contents of vintage film shorts in AARDMAN CLASSICS - Creature Comforts, Heat Electric Ads, Pib & Pog, Minotaur & Little Nerkin, War Story, Wat’s Pig, My Baby Just Cares For Me, Stage Fright, Pop, Owzat, Adam, Al Dente, Loves Me Loves Me Not, Babylon, Next, On Probation, Sales Pitch, Palmy Days, Early Bird, Late Edition, Confessions Of A Foyer Girl, Down & Out, Going Equipped and Not Without My Handbag.
